It may sound crazy with all the talk we do about community but…the power of one is truly something. The Power of One Step at a time.. the gradual, the slow.. I have learned that if you can manage to find joy in one step, then the dream will accomplish itself. Many times we get caught up in the rush of the game and forget that WE are the prize, the ONE, so why miss out on that gift. The gift of the present. The power of one step takes us to the power of one breath, which brings us back to the present. The gift…The One.. YOU, and I.
Let’s all slow down and simply take one step. Create the email. Find joy. Get around to designing the Logo. Find more joy. Write the list that may not get done, find more joy. Joy will begin to find you and the goal will be achieved and you will have had joy throughout the whole of the journey. How amazing is that story, one that steps out of the confines of struggle and into the reigns of ease. Take the urne (or what feels like urge to me) out of the word journey and all that is left is… joy. It was always meant for us to find it. Joy is always there, but we focus on the demands that others deem important instead of getting back to the Power of the One that is you. I was told by a beautiful Sister that It’s not selfish…It’s self-full.
As we learn, grow and build communities…let us remember the Power of One so we can begin moving collectively in Power and not Poverty. Remember..it all starts in the mind.
